Finding your way back, again and again

This isn't the highlight reel of look at me. Half of what you scroll past online isn't sustainable, and none of it is the full picture. Here's mine.

My first ever fat loss phase started back in 2021 and ran into 2022. That was the version of me that finally decided something had to change. A year or so on from that, I was the leanest I'd ever been in my life.

Then in 2024 my whole life flipped, and I went to prison. I won't bore you with the details. In April 2025 I got out — I'd lost the progress, the routine, everything I'd built, and had to find a way back in from rock bottom. And I did. But a few months later, that September, I lost my dad too. That year took the wind out of me in a way training never could. I was stuck in a long rut.

Where I'm at today isn't perfect, but it's in better shape than I was at the end of last year. Still building. Still working on myself. Running my own thing, and helping other people do the same off the back of everything that's knocked me down along the way.

I'm not writing this for sympathy. I'm writing it because if you've ever felt like you're starting over again, and again, and again — whether that's weight loss, weight gain, or just finding the gym itself genuinely hard to walk into — I get it. More than most, being neurodivergent myself.

That's what CoachedByEmmet is built on. No guesswork, no judgement, no comparing yourself to someone's best day online. Just proper training that meets you where you're actually at.

If any of this sounds like you, get in touch — let's go again, properly this time.
